JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing Building Information Modelling (BIM) models for electrical systems in data center and construction projects. Ensure BIM models are accurate, clash-free, and aligned with project requirements, design standards, and construction schedules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• BIM Modelling & Development
• Develop and maintain BIM models for electrical systems using Autodesk Revit and related BIM software.
• Create detailed 3D models based on design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Ensure models comply with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and company standards.
• Update BIM models according to design revisions and site conditions.
• BIM Coordination
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, and Architectural teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and clash detection reviews.
• Identify and resolve clashes using Navisworks or equivalent software.
• Ensure multidisciplinary model integration and coordination.
• Shop Drawings & Construction Support
• Generate shop drawings, installation drawings, and coordinated drawings from BIM models.
• Support site teams with BIM-related technical issues and design clarifications.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and material schedules from BIM models.
• Assist in construction planning and sequencing through BIM implementation.
• Data Center Project Support
• Develop BIM models for electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, cable containment, and ELV systems.
• Coordinate BIM requirements for mission-critical and data center infrastructure.
• Support Testing & Commissioning (T&C) documentation through BIM data management.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet client and consultant requirements.
• Documentation & Quality Control
• Maintain BIM documentation, model revisions, and project records.
• Ensure model accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
• Support BIM audits and quality checks throughout project lifecycle.
• Prepare as-built BIM models and final project BIM deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, BIM, Building Services, Construction Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in BIM modelling and coordination.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows, standards, and clash detection processes.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction methodologies.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
