Our client, a leading global online travel platform, is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive product localization and user experience optimization for the Malaysia market.
This is a high-impact role where you will act as the key bridge between local users and global product teams, ensuring the platform delivers a seamless, culturally relevant, and high-converting experience.
Key Responsibilities
Product Localization & Optimization
- Lead end-to-end localization strategy for the Malaysia market, including language, cultural adaptation, regulatory compliance, and local payment integration
- Analyze user behavior data (conversion funnels, retention metrics) and customer feedback (NPS, support tickets) to identify pain points and improvement opportunities
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform product enhancements
- Propose and implement data-driven solutions to improve user experience and business performance
- Deliver regular insight reports to global headquarters to influence product roadmap and iterations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with global product, design, and engineering teams to balance global consistency with local market needs
- Define and prioritize product requirements based on impact and feasibility
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to accelerate the rollout of localized features
- Ensure timely execution while proactively identifying and mitigating risks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, STEM, or a related field
- Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience in Product Management or a related role
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision making
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Strong understanding of the Malaysia market, preferably within travel, e-commerce, or tech platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a multicultural or regional/global environment
- Background in travel tech, online marketplaces, or consumer platforms
