Control Systems Engineer

About the Role

Join a leading Japanese engineering company specializing in industrial automation and advanced manufacturing solutions. This role focuses on developing and supporting control systems for automation equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for industrial automation and control systems.
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC-based systems.
• Support equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system validation.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure reliable system performance.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams on project delivery.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automation or control systems engineering.
• Hands-on PLC programming experience and knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, TCP/IP, EtherCAT).
• Familiar with control system design and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, motion control, or HMI programming is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
