Help them buy and sell financial products on exchanges worldwide, raise funding, and manage risk. Partner across divisions to deliver banking, sales & trading, and asset management capabilities globally. Beyond service delivery, Operations plays a critical role in risk management and control, safeguarding the firm’s assets and reputation.
Role Overview
The team ensures efficient and accurate transaction processing across complex financial instruments. This role offers exposure to a wide range of products and requires close alignment with Sales, Trading, Compliance, and Prime Brokerage. You’ll be part of a team that drives innovation, strengthens risk controls, and delivers best-in-class client service.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales, Trading, Compliance, and Operations teams to resolve issues and deliver timely legal confirmations.
- Set strategy and direction for tech and workflow initiatives to improve execution and mitigate risk.
- Assist with compliance metrics reporting, presentations, and firmwide risk management strategies.
- Identify non-compliant themes and improve execution timelines.
- Ensure accuracy in trade economics and booking systems to mitigate operational risk.
- Resolve exceptions promptly and maintain procedural conformity.
- Act as a Client Relationship, offering best-in-class service to trading desks and clients.
- Design and implement workflow process improvements across the trade lifecycle.
- Manage operational and reputational risk effectively while meeting market standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
- 0–1 years of experience (internship or entry-level work in finance/financial/banking sectors preferred).
- Tech-savvy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to interact across diverse teams.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and risk awareness.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn complex financial products.
This is a renewable contract role.
