Key Responsibilities:
1. ICT Operations & Support
- Oversee and support daily ICT operations including servers, network infrastructure, systems, applications, and end-user support.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of ICT systems supporting hospital, education campus and office environments.
- Manage incident resolution, system troubleshooting, and escalation where required.
2. ICT Network Infrastructure & Security
- Assist in managing and supporting ICT infrastructure including servers, networks, security, data backups, virtualization, PABX, and disaster recovery planning.
- Investigate, manage, and resolve complex network issues (LAN, WAN, VPN, VLANs, firewalls, routing and switching).
- To ensure a high level of network security is in place to prevent any unwished and unauthorized internal and external intrusion.
- Implement and enforce ICT security controls, user access management, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Support compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and internal audits.
- Minimise system downtime and ensure timely recovery of critical systems.
3. Project & Change Management
- Support and manage ICT-related projects such as system upgrades, digitalisation initiatives, infrastructure enhancements, and software implementations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
- Prepare documentation, testing plans, and implementation reports.
4. Vendor & Cost Management
- Liaise with ICT vendors, service providers, and system integrators.
- Monitor system licenses, maintenance contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Assist in ICT budget planning, cost control, and procurement activities.
5. Team & Stakeholder Support
- Provide guidance and technical support to ICT subordinate and support staff.
- Act as a key ICT contact for department heads and site personnel.
- Conduct basic ICT training, awareness sessions, and cybersecurity briefings when required.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain ICT documentation, asset registers, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare regular ICT reports on system performance, incidents, audits and improvement initiatives.
- Establish and manage internal ICT support processes and workflows, documentation, and asset management.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Networking, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in network infrastructure are preferred (e.g. CCNA, CompTIA, Google Associate or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations and understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, DNS, and DHCP. Exposure to network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, Windows/Linux server management, virtualization, data backup, and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance standards and disaster recovery planning.
- Proficiency in ITIL service processes, enterprise storage, and backup solutions.
- Minimum 1-2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.
- Good leadership, team supervision, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and decision- making abilities.
