Job Overview:

The Die Attach Technician plays a critical role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and adherence to production standards. The role involves hands-on work with advanced machinery in a cleanroom environment and requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Die Attach Technician are expected to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in every task.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Operation and Monitoring:

· Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment

· (Cu Clip Inline Machine and all Offline Machine).

· Verify machine settings and ensure calibration is correct before starting operations.

· Adjust machine parameters as needed to maintain optimal performance.

2. Process Control and Documentation:

· Adhere to defined process flows, ensuring all steps are executed per manufacturing guidelines.

· Record and track production metrics such as yield, cycle time, and defect rates.

· Complete logs and reports accurately for traceability and quality assurance purposes.

3. Inspection and Quality Assurance:

· Perform in-line inspections using microscopes, visual aids, or automated inspection tools to ensure product quality.

· Identify and segregate defective materials and report non-conformities to quality or engineering teams.

· Verify that finished goods meet customer specifications before moving to the next process stage.

4. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

· Identify and resolve minor machine issues, including jams, misalignments, and calibration errors.

· Collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve more complex equipment or process problems.

· Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment as per the maintenance schedule.

5. Cleanroom Compliance and Safety:

· Maintain strict adherence to cleanroom protocols, including gowning procedures and contamination control.

· Follow EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

· Participate in regular safety drills and equipment training.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

· Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and engineers about operational issues and improvements.

· Provide feedback on process inefficiencies and suggest opportunities for improvement.

· Support team training initiatives by mentoring new operators as required

Qualification & Experience:

Education Requirement:

Degree in Electronics / Electrical /Chemical/Mechanical Engineering

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

Practical experiences with all the equipment’s in die attach process.

Familiar with SPC, FMEA, DOE, TPM, OCAP, JMP, RCA, Control Plan, Working Instruction, Predictive Maintenance.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
