Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Telco Tester role based in Bangsar South. The Telco Tester will design, prepare, and execute test cases for telecommunications systems, including mobile, fixed-line, and network services. Daily responsibilities include analyzing business and technical requirements, setting up test environments, performing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing, and documenting test results. The role also involves identifying and tracking defects, collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and operations teams to resolve issues, and participating in test planning, estimation, and reporting. The Telco Tester will contribute to continuous improvement by refining test processes, updating test assets, and supporting production verification or user acceptance testing as needed.

Qualifications
- Strong telecommunications domain knowledge, including mobile and fixed network services, billing, charging, provisioning, and OSS/BSS processes.
- Hands-on experience in software testing for telco projects, covering functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Proficiency with test case design, test data preparation, and defect management using common test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM, or similar).
- Familiarity with network protocols, SIM and device testing, and validation of APIs or interfaces between telco platforms.
- Ability to analyze requirements and technical specifications, identify test conditions, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Strong documentation skills for test plans, test cases, test reports, and defect reports with clear, concise communication.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, business analysts, and project managers.
- Good problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
