Role Description

The Internal Communication Trainee internship is a remote, unpaid role specifically designed for university students seeking to fulfill their required cooperative training (Co-op) or academic internship program.

This role is vital to our daily operations, serving as the primary communication bridge between the organization’s various rosters, management, and staff. The trainee will focus heavily on internal communications to keep our teams aligned and informed, while also occasionally assisting in direct communication with external entities, such as the Esports World Cup organization. We operate in a highly flexible work environment, prioritizing clear results and effective collaboration. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong, confident presence who is highly comfortable engaging with the team through both voice calls and text.

Qualifications

Academic Requirement: Currently enrolled in a university program and seeking an unpaid internship to fulfill a required academic training or Co-op program.

Strong Interpersonal Skills: A confident, proactive personality with excellent persuasion and negotiation skills.

Dynamic Communication: Fully ready and capable of communicating effectively via both voice and text channels with players, internal staff, and external stakeholders.

Internal Communications Focus: High motivation to manage internal updates, facilitate team briefings, and ensure seamless information-sharing across different departments and rosters.

Adaptability & Independence: Highly organized and able to manage tasks effectively within a flexible, remote working environment.

Industry Interest: A basic understanding of the esports ecosystem and tournament structures, or a strong willingness to learn.

Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using common digital workspace and communication tools (e.g., Discord ).
