Our client is a reputable Contract Manufacturing MNC.

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operation, ensuring efficient P&L management, meeting production schedules within budgeted costs, and maintaining high product quality. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.

This leadership role involves guiding and directing various departments, fostering effective communication with plant and corporate personnel, and contributing to the professional development of key managers.

The General Manager plays a crucial role in developing and executing the site's manufacturing strategy and integral part of the Manufacturing Leadership Team.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production PCBA.

•

Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.

•

Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of product quality.

•

Provide effective leadership to a diverse team of production staff, including production operators, technicians, and support personnel.

•

Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement training programs as needed.

•

Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure products meet or exceed customer specifications.

•

Ensure the manufacturing facility complies with all relevant environmental, health, and safety standards.

•

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve product quality issues promptly.

•

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency.

•

Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles.

•

Ensure the manufacturing facility complies with all relevant environmental, health, and safety standards.

•

Good understanding of P&L/Industry Costing.

Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) Responsibilities

(in alignment with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements)

• Ensure full compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety (EHS) legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and standards.

• Provide leadership and commitment to the effective implementation and continual improvement of the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

• Promote a culture of proactive risk management by ensuring identification, evaluation, and control of environmental aspects and occupational health & safety hazards within all PCBA operations.

• Ensure appropriate objectives, targets, and programs are established to improve environmental performance and prevent work-related injuries and ill health.

• Allocate adequate resources to support EHS initiatives, training, and compliance monitoring.

• Review and endorse the outcomes of HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Risk Control) and Environmental Aspect-Impact Assessments (EAIAs) to ensure effectiveness of control measures.

• Lead management reviews of the EHS management system to evaluate performance, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure alignment with organizational strategy.

• Ensure effective communication, consultation, and participation of employees and contractors on EHS matters.

• Support the development and periodic testing of Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans to mitigate potential risks.

• Drive a culture of continual improvement, encouraging innovation and accountability in EHS performance across all levels of the organization.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS & ABILITY

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

•

Advanced degree is a plus.

• Proven experience in a managerial role within a Manufacturing environment.

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in PCBA/ Electronics Manufacturing.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in manufacturing.
