Role Description
- You must drive sales growth within the assigned territory by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- You must manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, customer acquisition, account management, and deal closure.
- You are expected to build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- You should provide technical consultation and application support related to cutting tools and machining solutions.
- You must promote tooling solutions and recommend suitable products based on customer requirements.
- You are expected to support customers in improving machining performance, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- You should monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer developments to identify growth opportunities.
- You must maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and customer information within the CRM system.
- You are expected to collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure effective customer support and service delivery.
- You should participate in sales meetings, business reviews, and territory planning activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience within the cutting tools, machining, metalworking, or related manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of cutting tools, including drilling, milling, threading, reaming, and related tooling applications.
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Proven track record in business development, customer acquisition, and account management.
- Ability to independently manage customer relationships and drive sales growth.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits and business development activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems is an advantage.
