Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Mechatronics Technician to assemble, wire, test, troubleshoot, and commission custom industrial machinery and automation equipment. The successful candidate will work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems to build machines according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical Assembly
• Assemble machine frames using aluminium profiles, steel structures, and fabricated components.
• Install linear guides, ball screws, bearings, motors, gearboxes, and mechanical assemblies.
• Perform alignment, leveling, and calibration of machine components.
• Install safety guards, covers, and machine accessories.
• Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and adjustments.
• Electrical Assembly & Wiring
• Assemble and wire electrical control panels.

Install electrical components including:

1) PLCs

2) HMIs

3) Power supplies

4) Circuit breakers

5) Contactors

6) Relays

7) VFDs

8) Servo drives

9) Route, terminate, label, and test machine wiring.

10) Install sensors, limit switches, photoelectric sensors, proximity sensors, and encoders.

11) Verify wiring according to electrical schematics.

12) Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems

13) Assemble pneumatic circuits according to drawings.

14) Install air cylinders, valves, regulators, FRL units, tubing, and fittings.

15) Troubleshoot pneumatic leaks and system faults.

16) Assist with hydraulic system installation when required.

17) Machine Testing & Commissioning

Read and interpret:

1) Mechanical drawings

2) Electrical schematics

3) Pneumatic diagrams

4) Assembly instructions

5) Ensure proper cable and component labeling.

6) Workplace Safety

Requirements

1) Education : NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent in:

• Mechatronics Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Automation Engineering

Technical Skills

Ability to read engineering drawings.

Experience with machine assembly.

Experience with industrial electrical wiring.

Basic understanding of PLC and HMI systems.

Knowledge of pneumatic systems.

Familiarity with industrial automation equipment.

Preferred Experience

2–5 years in machine building, automation, or industrial equipment.

Ability to work independently.

Good teamwork and communication skills.

Willingness to travel for installation and commissioning work.
