Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site / offsite PLC Programmer role based in Singapore. The responsibilities include designing, programming, testing, and maintaining PLC systems for industrial automation processes. The role requires creating and interpreting technical drawings, troubleshooting control system issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system efficiency and performance. The candidate will also support project documentation and provide on-site technical assistance during system installations and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 yrs of experience in Schneider and Siemens PLC programming and knowledge of various PLC platforms (e.g., Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.)
• Proficient in Structured Text language is highly preferred
• Logistics & warehouse (conveyors, robot) domain is plus
• Strong skills in HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development and SCADA systems
• Understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system hardware
• Experience in system troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring efficient operation
• Familiarity with industrial automation standards and protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to technical detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Previous experience in an industrial automation environment is preferred
