Full Time Data Centre Campus Fire Protection Jobs, in Shuoyao Technology Johor - Maukerja

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of all fire protection facilities in the data center campus, including automatic fire alarm systems, gas suppression systems, sprinkler systems, smoke control and exhaust systems.
• Manage fire system drawings, operation manuals, test records and other documents to keep the systems fully operational.
• Formulate and optimize fire emergency plans and response procedures for the campus.
• Respond promptly to fire alarms, assess on-site conditions, guide initial emergency handling and coordinate internal and external rescue teams.
• Ensure campus fire design, construction and operation comply with local fire service acts, Malaysian standards (MS 1910, MS 1745) and client requirements.
• Cooperate with fire authority inspections, acceptance and drills; develop and supervise rectification of potential hazards.
• Carry out fire risk assessment and formulate targeted fire prevention strategies for key areas such as raised floors, electrical rooms and battery rooms.
• Deliver regular training and assessments on fire safety knowledge, equipment operation and emergency evacuation for on-site staff and tenants.
• Plan and organize campus-wide fire drills to improve overall fire prevention and self-rescue capabilities.
• Participate in fire system planning, design review, construction supervision and final acceptance for new, renovated and expansion projects.
• Review fire system change requests (MOP), conduct risk assessment and ensure safe implementation.
• Oversee daily work, quality and performance of fire maintenance and inspection vendors.

Qualifications

• Capable of operating and maintaining fire protection systems including automatic fire alarm, gas suppression, sprinkler, smoke control and exhaust systems.
• Familiar with Malaysia’s Uniform Building By-Laws (UBBL) and relevant Malaysian Standards (MS).
• Prior working experience in data center industry is preferred.
