Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Developer to join the AML Environment/Support team within Compliance Technology. This role focuses on environment management, application support, and automation, ensuring the smooth functioning of AML systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Unix Shell Scripting, Java, and PL/SQL, along with hands-on experience in infrastructure and middleware environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage environment setup, connectivity, installation, patching, and upgrades
• Provide infrastructure and application support for AML systems
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Unix Shell, Bash, and PowerShell
• Support development activities using Java, Python (good to have), and PL/SQL
• Work with middleware and communication protocols (SFTP, Connect Direct, IBM MQ)
• Manage job scheduling tools such as Control-M or equivalent
• Handle version control using Git, Bitbucket, or Aldon
• Collaborate with compliance, business, and technology teams
• Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and defect resolution
• Ensure system performance, stability, and reliability

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure/environment management
• Strong expertise in Unix Shell Scripting (Bash, PowerShell)
• Hands-on experience in Java and PL/SQL development
• Good understanding of WebLogic, Windows OS, Linux, and Virtual Machines
• Experience with middleware tools and communication protocols (SFTP, Connect Direct, IBM MQ)
• Familiarity with job scheduling tools (Control-M or similar)
• Experience with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, Aldon)
• Strong knowledge of databases (Oracle, PL/SQL, MySQL)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Good to Have

• Exposure to AML/KYC, Transaction Monitoring (TM), FMF, or MLS domains
• Experience with Compliance Technology platforms (NetReveal, Actimize, Fiserv Continuity, Tookitaki, or similar)
• Prior experience in banking or Group Compliance environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube)
• Basic knowledge of Python for automation and development
