Job Description:

• Assist in the planning and development of project schedules, collaborating closely with the project team to ensure that deadlines are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project specifications are accurately and effectively implemented, maintaining alignment with the overall project goals.
• Provide ongoing technical advice and support to the construction teams, addressing any technical challenges that arise and offering solutions to keep the project moving forward without delays.
• Work alongside consultants and design teams to review project designs ensuring compliance with engineering standards, industry regulations, and the client’s specific requirements.
• Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications, providing guidance to ensure compliance with design details.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, assess progress, and resolve technical issues, ensuring compliance with designs and schedules.
• Identify potential risk and develop proactive solutions to mitigate risks ensuring the project remains on schedule.
• Monitor site activities to ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, proactively addressing any potential safety concerns.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols on-site, ensuring that all workers follow safety procedures and that a safe work environment is maintained, reducing risks of accidents and injuries.
• Conduct safety audits and training sessions for site personnel, ensuring that everyone on-site is well-versed in safety standards and protocols
• Liaise with PEPC regarding all technical submissions, including items such as Pile Cap Enlargement, Falseworks, Engineering Calculations, and the submission of shop drawings, ensuring that all necessary documents are approved and endorsed by PEPC as required.
• Maintain accurate records of construction progress, labor, and material usage, ensuring detailed documentation that tracks project status, materials consumed, and workforce deployment for reporting and analysis
• Prepare reports on site activities and project milestones, updating the project manager and stakeholders regularly on the progress and challenges.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
• This position to be based in Kuching/Sri Aman/Engkelili, Sarawak.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
