Job Summary:
The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end establishment and operational readiness of a centralized Operations and Monitoring Center that supports critical, time-sensitive incident verification and response coordination services.
This role carries full accountability for planning, setting up, and delivering the Operations Center, including infrastructure readiness, systems implementation, manpower planning, operational governance, and cross-functional coordination.
In addition to project delivery, the Project Manager will oversee the setup and alignment of key operational functions such as Client Management, Technical Engineering, Service Desk Operations, and Product Enablement, ensuring all functions operate cohesively within a high-reliability service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end setup and delivery of the Operations Center, ensuring alignment to defined scope, timelines, and budget
- Drive project planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and mitigation to ensure smooth and timely execution
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Technical, IT, HR, Facilities, Compliance, Finance) to ensure integrated implementation
- Oversee infrastructure and system setup, including integration of monitoring, communication, and escalation platforms
- Manage vendors and contractors across procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning phases
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory, and quality standards
- Define manpower planning, team structures, and shift models to support operational requirements (including 24/7 environments where applicable.
- Establish SOPs, workflows, escalation protocols, and governance frameworks to enable consistent and efficient operations
- Act as the key liaison with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external parties to ensure alignment, compliance, and continuity
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and deliverables, providing clear reporting and updates to senior management
- Drive post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
- Demonstrate strong project management experience in infrastructure, systems implementation, or operational setup environments
- Possess excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced, cross-functional settings
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management in support of project and operational objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant project management experience, ideally involving operations setup, centralized monitoring environments, infrastructure deployment, or regulated service environments.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is required.
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, including technical, operational, and service delivery functions.
- Strong stakeholder management capability, including vendor coordination and engagement with external parties.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability in handling sensitive operational matters.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Candidates who are available to start immediately or within short notice will be prioritized.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
