Position : Data Centre Support Technician ( Immediate Hiring)

Tenure : 6 – 12 Months Contract

Working Location : Kulai Johor

Working Hour : Rotational Shift

Salary : RM 7,000 – RM 12,500

Job Responsibilities

• Ability to understand internal customer problems and provide technical solutions in a timely manner.
• Ability to understand customer urgency and sensitivity of a problem.
• Ability to speak confidently and communicate clearly with internal customers.
• Ability to work well within a demanding customer environment and delight customers.
• Strong Adherence to Process and be a process champion.
• Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server hardware, and software.
• Provides escalated 2nd level technical support for complex technical issues which may include leading problem management cases and providing management status.
• Manages escalated support cases and leads appropriate internal technical resources and/or 3rd party vendors to resolution.
• Assist with server operating system and application upgrades, bug fixes, and patching.
• Working on standardization projects for both hardware and software under the Oracle technology stack; while providing consistent system uptime as expected in an IaaS environment.

Job Requirement

• Immediate availability to join the team.
• Strong background in Linux operating systems.
• Previous experience working in a Data Centre environment, including racking and stacking gear, cable management, and hot & cold aisle containment.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7/365 rotational shift environment, including on-call shifts as required.
• Solid understanding of the Data Centre Ecosystem, including cooling, electrical systems, networking, and structured cabling.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
