About the Role :-
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Robotics Engineer to join our Engineering and Product Development team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the end-to-end development, testing, and commercialization of Autonomous Guided Vehicle (AGV) solutions, from concept design and prototyping to deployment and production readiness.
This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and commercially viable robotic solutions that meet customer and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and optimize Autonomous Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems, including hardware, software, and sensor technologies.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Manufacturing, and Business Development teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Build, test, and validate AGV prototypes, incorporating improvements based on field testing and customer feedback.
- Develop and enhance autonomous navigation capabilities, including path planning, localization, mapping, and obstacle avoidance algorithms.
- Integrate sensors such as LiDAR, GPS, IMU, cameras, and other perception systems to improve vehicle performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain software using C++ and Python within Robot Operating System (ROS) environments.
- Ensure AGV systems comply with relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
- Support manufacturing teams in transitioning prototypes into scalable production-ready solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, testing reports, and product specifications.
- Provide technical support during product demonstrations, customer onboarding, deployments, and post-implementation activities.
- Participate in continuous product improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and commercial competitiveness.
Requirements-
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in robotics or Autonomous Guided Vehicle (AGV) development.
- Proven experience across the complete product lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and commercialization.
- Experience in industrial automation, warehouse robotics, or autonomous systems will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Robot Operating System (ROS).
- Experience with SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) technologies.
- Hands-on experience with sensor integration, including LiDAR, GPS, IMU, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming.
- Understanding of embedded systems and robotic control system design.
- Familiarity with navigation algorithms, path planning, and obstacle detection technologies.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
