Title: Structural Engineer (Technical Sales)

• Focus: Software Demonstration, Technical Support, and Requirements Engineering

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Software Demonstrations

• Conduct software demos for prospective clients, translating complex requirements into business value.
• Address technical inquiries during the sales cycle

2. Technical Support

• Assist with user inquiries and issues
• Assist with troubleshoot simulation errors, integration issues, and workflow bottlenecks.
• Assist with documentation, video tutorials, and knowledge-base articles to empower the user community.

3. Product Requirements & Feature Specs

• Translate user requirements into technical specifications for the software team.
• Collaborate with developers to define the UI/UX for new mechanical toolsets.
• Testing on new builds to ensure features meet the engineering specifications.

Candidate Profile

Technical Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Industry Software: Proficiency in engineering software tools
• Engineering Fundamentals: Strong grasp of statics, dynamics and structural behaviour, structural engineering concepts, BS and EC2 code of practice for Reinforce Concrete and Steel structures.
• Technical Writing: Ability to write clear, concise specifications and technical requirement documents

Soft Skills:

• Presentation Flair: Comfortable presenting to engineers
• Empathy: The ability to listen to a frustrated user and find a technical solution/workaround.
• Analytical Mindset: Able to break down a complex process into logical work flows

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
