Position: Operation Manager
Salary: RM5,000 – RM7,000
Working Days: Monday – Friday (Saturday Half-Day / Alternate Saturday)
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Saturday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM)

Job Description

RedRadar International is hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced and results-driven Operation Manager.

This role is responsible for leading and overseeing the company's construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will play a key role in operational planning, team leadership, project execution, and continuous improvement initiatives that support the company’s growth objectives.

The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership capabilities, construction industry experience, operational expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1) Lead, manage, and oversee daily operations within the construction department.
2) Develop operational strategies and ensure alignment with company goals and project requirements.
3) Plan, coordinate, and monitor construction activities across multiple sites.
4) Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
5) Supervise site supervisors, project teams, subcontractors, and operational staff.
6) Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, coaching, training, and motivation.
7) Manage departmental budgets, manpower allocation, equipment, and operational resources efficiently.
8) Establish and track departmental KPIs and project performance metrics.
9) Ensure compliance with company policies, CIDB regulations, safety requirements, and industry standards.
10) Conduct regular site inspections and operational reviews to identify risks and resolve issues promptly.
11) Collaborate with other Heads of Department (HODs), consultants, clients, and management teams to achieve organizational objectives.
12) Prepare operational reports, project updates, and performance analyses for management.
13) Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost control.
14) Support business growth through operational planning and process optimization.

Requirements

1) Minimum Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
2) Proven experience in construction operations management or a similar leadership role.
3) Strong understanding of construction processes, project management, and site operations.
4) Knowledge of CIDB requirements, construction regulations, and safety standards.
5) Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
