We’re hiring: Senior Client Servicing / Senior Key Account Manager

Ara Iruda is looking for a Senior Client Servicing / Senior Key Account Manager who understands that client work is not just about following up.


It is about protecting the direction of the work.


We are a branding and creative direction agency built for brands, founders, and organisations with visions that refuse to shrink. Our role is to bring structure before output, sharpen decisions before execution, and make sure ideas move into the world with clarity, precision, and weight.


This role is for someone who has worked inside an agency environment and understands the real nature of creative work: unclear briefs, shifting expectations, tight timelines, multiple stakeholders, internal pressure, client pressure, and the responsibility to keep the work strong until the final approval.


This is not a general account management role.


We are looking for someone who can lead client relationships, manage expectations, grow accounts, and review work carefully before it reaches clients or stakeholders.


You will be the person who keeps the account moving without allowing the work to become ordinary.


What you will own

You will manage a portfolio of client accounts and act as the main bridge between clients, internal creative teams, production teams, and Ara Iruda’s leadership.


Your role will include:

  • Managing day-to-day client relationships with clarity and confidence
  • Understanding client objectives and turning them into clear internal direction
  • Leading client servicing across branding, creative, marketing, campaign, and production-related projects
  • Managing timelines, feedback, revisions, approvals, and expectations
  • Reviewing work before it is submitted to clients or stakeholders
  • Spotting gaps in briefs, presentations, deliverables, and client communication
  • Coordinating with creative, strategy, production, and management teams to keep projects moving properly
  • Preparing client updates, proposals, account plans, and recommendations
  • Identifying opportunities to grow accounts through additional services, retainers, project extensions, and new scopes of work
  • Managing difficult conversations professionally, especially around scope, timing, quality, and expectations
  • Making sure the client relationship is protected without compromising the standard of the work


Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone mature, sharp, structured, and commercially aware.


Someone who can speak to clients with confidence, follow up without being chased, and hold internal teams accountable without creating unnecessary noise.


You should be able to manage pressure, read the room, ask better questions, and know when something is not ready to be submitted.


While you do not need to be a designer, you must be able to understand client objectives, interpret briefs accurately, and work closely with strategy and creative teams to develop and present well-considered directions for client approval. You should have a strong understanding of branding, creative work, agency workflow, and know how to evaluate whether a piece of work is truly ready to move forward.


Requirements

  • 3–5 years of senior-level experience in client servicing, account management, or key account management
  • Experience in a creative agency, branding agency, advertising agency, marketing agency, digital agency, or similar client-servicing environment is required
  • Strong understanding of branding, creative projects, client briefs, timelines, feedback rounds, and agency delivery
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and grow existing accounts
  • Experience preparing proposals, supporting upsells, and identifying account growth opportunities
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines without losing control of the details
  • Comfortable reviewing work before client or stakeholder submission
  • Calm under pressure, clear in communication, and firm when needed
  • Able to work full-time on-site at Menara Keck Seng, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur
  • Own transportation is preferred for client meetings and off-site coordination


This role is suitable for someone who:

  • Demonstrates sound judgement in managing client expectations without overpromising
  • Maintains control of timelines, scope, and quality throughout project delivery
  • Engages confidently with founders, business owners, senior stakeholders, and internal creative teams
  • Takes ownership of the account, not just the task
  • Aspires to develop into a stronger client leadership role within a creative agency


Compensation

Salary will be benchmarked based on agency experience, client-servicing maturity, and account growth capability.


Indicative range: RM6,000 – RM8,000 per month.


Important
