Raise is seeking an experienced and driven Electronics Assembly Technician to join a manufacturing team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for building, repairing, and testing electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies used in semiconductor and display equipment. You will work from detailed work orders, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and play an active role in process improvement and quality assurance.

PAY:

  • SGD 2,500 – 2,600: NITEC / O- or A-level with no experience (0–2 years)
  • SGD 2,600 – 2,700: Higher NITEC with no experience, or O/A-level with 3–5 years
  • SGD 2,800 – 3,100: Diploma with no experience, or O/A-level with >5 years
  • Up to SGD 3,200: All NITEC / Diploma with 3–5 years
  • Up to SGD 3,400: All NITEC / Diploma with >5 years, or Degree with 0–2 years
  • Up to SGD 3,600: Degree with >3 years, min Diploma with >6 years, or prior role >SGD 3,200

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fully onsite role in Upper Changi/Tampines, Singapore, requiring adherence to all site safety protocols and PPE standards.

DURATION: 24 Months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret work orders including schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and written instructions to build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies.
  • Perform a wide variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs across complex subassemblies and components.
  • Receive parts and conduct audits to verify availability.
  • Inspect incoming parts for defects; identify and resolve process issues proactively.
  • Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to validate assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Complete required job documentation including data entry on work progress, labour hours, and materials.
  • Perform computer programming, repairs, or software installations as needed.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and serve as an informal resource and peer trainer for junior team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • NITEC or Diploma in a relevant technical discipline.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in semiconductor or display manufacturing, or equivalent industry or military technical experience.
  • Related technical training or certifications in electro-mechanical systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to apply established procedures and scientific methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a peer leader and trainer in a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing concepts and processes.
  • ASSEET or BSEET qualification (e.g. DeVry, TSTC) is an advantage.

Physical Requirements:

  • We are looking for active, agile people who are comfortable working in a role that can be physically demanding.
  • It requires standing for extended periods, walking, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, working in confined spaces, and operating heavy machinery including forklifts.
  • Work takes place in a clean-room environment requiring the use of appropriate PPE such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
  • Candidates must be able to distinguish colours and work in noisy environments.
