We're looking for an experienced Java Backend Engineer to design, build, and support scalable backend systems that power critical financial services. You'll work closely with cross-functional technology teams and play a key role in delivering reliable, high-performing applications.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Build and integrate REST and SOAP APIs
• Work with cloud and container technologies including AWS, Docker, and OpenShift
• Develop messaging solutions and database integrations
• Support CI/CD pipelines, testing, performance optimization, and system reliability
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, integration, and database teams
• Contribute to Agile delivery and continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

• 5-6+ years of Java backend development experience
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and microservices
• Experience with API integration, cloud-native development, and containerization
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar databases
• Knowledge of backend security, DevOps, and observability tools
• Familiarity with AI, GenAI, or Agentic AI tools
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in large-scale, regulated environments is highly valued
