Production & Deployment Technician (PD Tech)

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Production & Deployment Technician (PD Tech) to support machine preparation, deployment, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities. This role is important to ensure all machines/equipment are properly prepared, tested, and deployed according to company standards and timeline.

The ideal candidate is technically skilled, proactive, able to work independently, and comfortable working on-site or traveling when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine/equipment assembly, setup, and testing before deployment
• Assist in machine installation and deployment at customer sites
• Conduct troubleshooting, repair, and basic maintenance for machines/equipment
• Ensure all machines are functioning properly before delivery/deployment
• Support technical team during servicing and operational activities
• Handle machine configuration, software setup, and connectivity checking (if applicable)
• Perform quality checking and ensure deployment meets company standards
• Prepare deployment reports, service reports, and documentation
• Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, QA, and Technical teams
• Monitor deployment schedules and ensure timely completion
• Assist in stock preparation, spare parts arrangement, and inventory checking
• Follow safety procedures and company SOP during production and deployment activities

Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, IT, or related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Experience in vending machine, coffee machine, IoT devices, or technical deployment is an advantage
• Basic troubleshooting and technical repair skills
• Able to use basic hand tools and technical equipment
• Possess good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and under minimum supervision
• Willing to travel/outstation when required
• Possess valid driving license (GDL is an added advantage)
