Key Responsibilities

Python Development & Engineering

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, production-grade Python applications and microservices aligned to SCB’s architecture standards
• Write clean, well-documented and testable code following engineering best practices (code reviews, unit/integration testing, CI quality gates)
• Collaborate with product and data science teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions

DevOps & Kubernetes Deployment

• Build and maintain Azure DevOps (ADO) CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment workflows
• Deploy and manage containerised Python applications on SCB’s Kubernetes (K8s) clusters — including manifest authoring, Helm chart management and rollout strategies
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices; manage configuration, secrets and environment parity across dev, staging and production
• Monitor application health and pipeline reliability; troubleshoot deployment failures and optimise build performance

AI / ML Model Development & MLOps

• Develop, train and validate machine learning models using Python-based frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Build and operationalise MLOps pipelines — including feature engineering, model versioning, experiment tracking and model serving
• Integrate ML models into production services via REST APIs or batch inference pipelines within the K8s environment
• Collaborate with data scientists to bridge the gap between experimentation and production deployment
