Overview

We are looking for an Event Operations Executive to support AKC’s training-related events, roadshows, workshops, and consultancy projects.

This role is suitable for candidates who are interested in event planning, operations, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site execution. You will gain practical experience managing event schedules, documentation, client communication, registration support, venue coordination, post-event reporting, and workflow improvements.

By the end of this work-study programme, you will have hands-on experience supporting event planning, coordinating stakeholders, managing event-day operations, and understanding how events contribute to business and customer engagement outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities

·        Support planning and coordination of training-related events, roadshows, workshops, and consultancy projects

·        Assist in preparing event timelines, work schedules, project plans, and event documentation

·        Coordinate with vendors, venues, clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders for event arrangements

·        Assist in managing event logistics, materials, equipment, manpower, and venue setup

·        Support on-site event operations, including setup, registration, coordination, troubleshooting, and teardown

·        Assist in preparing post-event reports, feedback summaries, and event closure documentation

·        Recommend improvements to event workflows, operational design, and customer experience

·        Support event marketing plans, promotional materials and outreach activities

Requirements

·        Nitec or Higher Nitec in Event Management, Business Administration, or related fields

·        Strong interest in events, operations, logistics, or project coordination

·        Comfortable supporting both planning and on-site event execution

·        Organised and detail-oriented when handling schedules, documents, vendors, and event logistics

·        Good communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, participants, and internal teams

Able to work in fast-paced environments such as events, roadshows, and workshops
