• Documentation: Handling import/export documents, including invoices, customs declarations, export/import permits, and bills of lading, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Logistics: Managing the flow of goods through the supply chain, including storage, transportation, and distribution.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to relevant import/export regulations and customs procedures.
• Negotiation: Negotiating freight rates and terms with carriers, striving for cost-effective transportation options.
• Communication: Communicating with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Problem Solving: Addressing any issues, delays, or problems encountered during shipping and finding timely solutions.
• Cost Management: Analyzing shipping protocols and expenses, suggesting improvements to optimize costs.
• Documentation: Preparing and verifying shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
