The Event Assistant will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and assisting various events and promotions within the retail pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, plan, and execute in-store events, promotional activities, and health awareness campaigns.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and impactful event concepts aligned with the company's objectives.
• Liaise with internal departments and vendors to ensure seamless execution of events.
• Coordinate logistics, including venue setup, signage, promotional materials, and staffing requirements.
• Required to support the promotion in events and manage cashier duties, as well as oversee stock inventory.
• Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all event-related materials.
• Interact with customers during events, addressing inquiries, and gathering feedback to improve future initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations to enhance community engagement.
• Provide detailed post-event reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience, preferable within the retail pharmacy or healthcare industry.
• Proven experience in event planning and execution and have strong organization and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel to different locations and move around during events.
• Flexibility to work during public holidays and weekends as needed.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh and compelling content ideas and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional team and fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
