Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Reports To: Outlet Operations Executive
Supervises: Outlet Staff
Liaises With: Operations Manager, Outlet Chef, and Senior Management
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee all aspects of our restaurant operations. You will be responsible for managing daily activities, delivering a high-quality dining experience, and leading a team of service and kitchen staff to uphold exceptional customer service standards.
This role requires strong leadership, operational insight, and a passion for the food and beverage industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing both front-of-house and back-of-house functions, with the ability to inspire staff and maintain excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily restaurant operations (Front and Back of House)
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met
- Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
- Monitor product quality and identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage staff scheduling, shift supervision, and daily task delegation
- Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching to improve productivity
- Forecast supply needs and manage procurement of stock and supplies
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations
- Maintain a positive restaurant image and recommend improvements
- Oversee cost control, budgeting, and waste reduction strategies
- Prepare regular reports on revenue, expenses, and operational performance
- Support local marketing and brand promotion initiatives, including events and community outreach
- Recommend promotional strategies (e.g., offers, social media campaigns)
- Train and onboard new hires and ensure continuous service training for staff
- Implement and enforce company policies and operational procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong background in customer service and team supervision
- Solid knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu familiarity and kitchen workflows
- Proficiency with restaurant management software and POS systems
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and cost control
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality service

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
