Tanggungjawab

A Mechanical Assembly Engineering Manager leads the end-to-end design, tooling, and deployment of mechanical assemblies (e.g., PCBA, box-builds, and system-level enclosures). To bridge the gap between new product introduction and factory production, optimizing jigs, implementing automation, and overseeing DFM (Design for Manufacturing).



Key Responsibilitie

  • sDesign & DFM: Drive structural, plastic, and sheet metal design reviews. Ensure products meet Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/DFA) guidelines
  • .Quality & Continuous Improvement: Drive root cause analysis, risk assessments (FMEA), and resolve tolerance or structural integrity issues using statistical methods and Lean Manufacturing principles
  • .Tooling & Process: Oversee the fabrication and validation of production tooling, jigs, and fixtures to ensure repeatable quality on the factory floor
  • .NPI to Production: Manage the transition from New Product Introduction (NPI) to mass production
  • .System Integration: Align the engineering team's outputs with ERP and MES shop-floor execution systems for accurate BOM and change control (ECO/ECN)
  • .Customer Focus: Interface directly with customers or stakeholders to deliver operations excellence
  • .Team Leadership & Mentorship: Recruit, train, and mentor mechanical engineers and system integration technicians. Oversee resource allocation, performance evaluations, and project timelines

Typical Requiremen

  • tsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineerin
  • g.Experience: 15+ years of experience in product design/manufacturing and 8 + years in a management role leading a team of system integration and mechanical assembly engineer and technicia
  • n.Technical Proficiency: Expertise in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP integratio
  • n.Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Industry 4.0 automation, robotics, and lean manufacturing principle
