We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into clean and efficient code.
- Implement new features and enhance existing functionalities based on the product roadmap.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Apply modern Android architectural patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, and third-party SDKs efficiently.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and root cause analysis.
- Monitor post-release performance metrics and resolve production issues promptly.
Must-have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Strong foundation in OOP, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- 2–5 years of hands-on mobile application development experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience focused on Kotlin and/or Java.
- Strong command of Kotlin and/or Java.
- Solid understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Experience implementing MVVM or Clean Architecture.
- Experience with SQLite / local storage will be an added advantage.
