Join AstraZeneca’s HR team in Singapore for a hands-on internship that spans Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Learning Administration, and HR projects. You’ll collaborate with HR Business Partners and Operations to support hiring and engagement activities across the Malaysia and Singapore markets, gaining practical exposure to the commercial HR function in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.


Key responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Support end-to-end recruitment activities (predominantly for AstraZeneca Malaysia), including candidate coordination, interview scheduling, documentation accuracy, and status tracking. Assist in planning and executing the OneAZ onboarding programme for new joiners.
  • Employer Branding and Engagement: Participate in career fairs and university talks; help develop content for social media and early talent channels in alignment with AstraZeneca branding guidelines.
  • Learning Administration: Coordinate training sessions, maintain the learning calendar, manage logistics (room booking, catering/lunch arrangements), and support attendance/feedback tracking.
  • HR Projects and Operations: Contribute to HR simplification and process improvement initiatives, employer branding projects, and routine operational tasks such as weekly filing and records maintenance.
  • Collaboration and Compliance: Partner closely with HRBPs, TA, and business stakeholders to ensure a positive candidate and employee experience, while adhering to data privacy and compliance requirements.


By the end of the internship, you will:

  • Gain a broad overview of HR Business Partnering and HR Operations, with practical experience across talent acquisition, onboarding, and learning administration in a commercial setting.
  • Develop capabilities in candidate lifecycle management, stakeholder communication, and event/logistics coordination.
  • Build skills in HR systems usage, documentation rigor, and data confidentiality.
  • Learn how to plan, execute, and measure impact for employer branding and campus engagement.
  • Apply continuous improvement thinking to simplify processes and enhance user experience.


Preferably you have a minimum internship period of 5-6 months and able to start immediately.
