Position : Technical Writer

Salary : RM 3,500 – RM 6,000

Location : Imazium, Uptown Damansara

Working Hours : Monday - Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Writer to produce clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our software products and services. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and support teams to translate technical information into content that is easy to understand for different audiences.

Job Responsibilities

• Research, write, and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, API documentation, SOPs, installation guides, release notes, and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and support teams to gather and validate technical information.
• Organize, update, and maintain internal and external documentation repositories.
• Review and edit technical content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Ensure documentation complies with company standards, templates, and style guidelines.
• Participate in product discussions and demos to stay updated on new features and changes.
• Manage documentation tasks and deliverables within project timelines.
• Continuously improve documentation structure, usability, and processes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Communication, English, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a software or IT environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear and user-friendly content.
• Basic understanding of software development, APIs, and system workflows.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C# is an advantage.
• Experience working with documentation tools or content management systems is a plus.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
