Position :Technical Writer

Salary : RM 3,500 - RM 6,000

Location : Imazium, Uptown Damansara

Working Days : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to develop clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our software and technical products. The role collaborates closely with engineering, product, and support teams to translate complex technical information into structured content for both technical and non-technical users.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documentation such as user guides, SOPs, API documentation, installation manuals, release notes, and knowledge base articles
• Work with developers, product managers, QA, and support teams to gather accurate technical information
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and well-structured documentation
• Review, edit, and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance
• Maintain documentation repositories, version control, and proper content organization
• Ensure all documentation follows internal style guides and quality standards
• Participate in product discussions, testing, and feature reviews to understand system functionality
• Continuously improve documentation processes, templates, and tools

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Communications, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a software or IT environment
• Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for different audiences
• Familiarity with software development concepts, APIs, and system documentation
• Basic understanding of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C# is an advantage
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple documentation tasks effectively

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Education:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• JavaScript: 2 years (Preferred)
• Technical Writer: 2 years (Preferred)
• Python: 2 years (Preferred)
• C#: 2 years (Preferred)
