Job Summary

The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring products and processes meet defined quality standards and customer requirements. This role focuses on quality planning, inspection, problem solving, and continuous improvement across production and project activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans, procedures, and work instructions.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality inspections (IQC / IPQC / OQC).
• Monitor and analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Lead root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, and Pareto.
• Support non-conformance handling, MRB, and concession processes.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Participate in internal audits and support external/customer audits.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Support NPI / project activities to ensure quality readiness before mass production.
• Prepare and maintain quality reports, dashboards, and documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering (fresh graduates may be considered).
• Knowledge of quality tools (SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, 8D).
• Familiar with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / ISO 13485 (depending on industry).
• Able to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and basic data analysis tools.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt.
• Experience in manufacturing or precision machining environment.
• Supplier quality or customer complaint handling experience.
