Overview

NES Fircroft is recruiting for Commissioning Engineers to support ongoing power transmission and distribution projects in Singapore.

This role is ideal for engineers with hands-on experience in HV substations, switchgear, and transformer systems, with exposure to installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of HV/EHV substation and transmission projects (66kV–400kV)
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of:GIS / AIS switchgearPower transformersShunt reactorsProtection and control systems
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with technical standards
• Prepare and review technical documentation including test reports and drawings
• Perform troubleshooting and support fault analysis during commissioning
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients for project delivery
• Ensure adherence to safety, QA/QC, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2–8 years of relevant experience in power T&D or substation projects
• Hands-on experience in HV systems (66kV and above)
• Experience in testing and commissioning activities is highly preferred
• Familiarity with protection relays and substation systems
• Ability to work on-site across Singapore projects
