Full Time Resident Engineer (CS) Jobs, Salary up to SGD 6,000 in WSP CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. West Region (Singapore) - Maukerja

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and report on the progress of works
• Carry out inspection of engineering works prior to concreting, subsequent construction work and defects rectification works
• To carry out supervision and inspection of the works as directed by the Supervision QP, CRE, SRE, consultants or Superintending Officer
• To manage and supervise the Resident Technical Officer under his charge
• Ensure records of all engineering works including records of tests, defect rectification, inspections, work progress, material and equipment on site, safety, etc, are timely updated and properly kept
• Attending site, progress, variation and coordination meetings
• Verifying all reports and claims submitted by the contractors

Requirements:

• Possess degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering from a recognized university by PE Board Singapore
• Registered Resident Engineer with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES)and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)
• Minimum 10 years' experience in supervision of institutional development with strong knowledge in civil engineering work, bored piling, structural steel and reinforced concrete construction
• Must be familiar with local regulations/ codes for civil & structural related to building projects
• A good team player and experience in leading a team of Resident Technical Officers
• Strong ability to interpret the Contract documents and drawings on the works to be carried out
• Ability to resolve site and technical issues, prepare and document detailed site progress reports
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Possess effective communication skills and able to interact with people at all levels
