About the role

Saquosen Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to join our team in Kulai, Johor. This is a full-time position based on-site, offering an exciting opportunity to provide technical support and expertise within the environmental engineering sector. As a Technical Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of our systems and solutions, whilst delivering exceptional service to our clients. This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

1. On-site service, water analysis for boiler, cooling system and industrial effluent treatment system at client sites

2. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults and malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner

3. Provide on-site technical support and guidance to clients on system operation and best practices

4. Conduct routine maintenance inspections and preventative servicing of installed equipment

5. Document all service visits, maintenance activities and technical issues in comprehensive reports

6. Liaise between clients and the design or engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges

7. Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations during all service activities

8. Identify opportunities for system improvements and provide recommendations to clients

9. Respond to emergency service calls and provide rapid response support when required.

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical & Environmental Engineering, Environmental science, Chemistry or a related engineering & science discipline

1. Sound understanding of environmental engineering systems, processes and equipment

2. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues

3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients

4. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and technical equipment relevant to environmental systems

5. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively whilst meeting service deadlines

6. Full driving licence and willingness to travel to various client locations

7. Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations and compliance standards

8. Customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering high-quality support
