Job Description & Requirements
As the Solutions Manager, you will be the solutions lead for our project bidding and key member of our product strategy. You will manage a specialized team of four to evaluate electronic security hardware/software, conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) testing, and architect high-value integrated solutions.
This role bridges the gap between commercial strategy and project excellence, ensuring our systems—from enterprise CCTV, Access Control, Alarms to AI-powered analytics—are innovative, cost-effective, and operationally robust.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture & Bidding: Lead the design phase for large-scale security tenders in Singapore. Translate complex client requirements into technical designs, ensuring compatibility across VMS, hardware, and network infrastructure.
- Product Evaluation & R&D: Act as the "Subject Matter Expert" for electronic security. Vet new manufacturers, conduct bench testing, validation and stay ahead of trends in ACS, biometrics, VMS and unified security platforms.
- Costing & Strategic Sourcing: Collaborate with procurement to optimize the Bill of Materials (BOM). Evaluate "total cost of ownership" to ensure bids are competitive.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of four engineers, including direct management of one remote team member based overseas.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Report directly to the Group Strategy Director to align solutions designs and product management with the company’s long-term technology and solutions roadmap.
Technical Scope & System Design
The candidate will oversee the integration of multi-layered security environments:
- Video Surveillance: IP systems, VSaaS (Cloud), and Edge/Server-side AI analytics.
- Access Control: Biometrics, mobile credentials, and multi-site enterprise management.
- Intrusion Detection: PIDS (Perimeter Intrusion Detection) and integrated alarm monitoring.
- PSIM/Unified Platforms: Designing dashboards that unify disparate security subsystems.
- Other emerging technologies and relevant solutions to ensure marketing leading status and competitiveness
Job Requirement:
- Experience: 4+ years in the electronic security industry, with 3+ years in a leadership or senior design role, familiar with System Integration and services provider business.
- Employment Status: Must be based in Singapore with ready employment status
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage technical staff, including managing remote or distributed teams. Solid task manager and planner that is sensitive to deadlines.
- Technical Knowhow: Proficiency in IT, relevant tools, software and platforms in the security industry.
- Communication: Strong English proficiency to present technical designs to C-suite executives and government stakeholders.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $7,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
