Position Overview
We are seeking a Engineer, Process Integration to support semiconductor manufacturing and wafer fabrication operations for advanced photonic and semiconductor products. This role will work closely with foundry partners and internal engineering teams to support process integration activities, monitor wafer processing, perform inspections, and assist in maintaining process quality and yield performance. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Support coordination with semiconductor foundries on wafer processing activities, process monitoring, and schedule updates.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining semiconductor wafer fabrication process flows to support stable manufacturing operations and product quality.
- Monitor wafer-level fabrication activities to ensure compliance with process specifications and integration requirements.
- Perform incoming wafer inspections and support defect analysis, yield monitoring, and quality assurance activities.
- Support validation and monitoring of photonic and electrical performance for optical interposer structures and related components.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, inspection records, technical reports, and manufacturing data tracking.
- Collaborate with process, design, test, packaging, and manufacturing teams to support process improvement and day-to-day engineering activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process integration, or wafer fabrication environments. Candidates with more relevant experience may be considered for a more senior position.
- Good understanding of semiconductor wafer fabrication processes, including lithography, etching, deposition, and CMP.
- Hands-on experience with wafer inspection and defect analysis tools such as optical microscopy and SEM is preferred.
- Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
