Key Responsibilities:
- Own and grow a portfolio of accounts across Singapore and Southeast Asia, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets through new business, cross-sell, and upsell of ANSYS simulation software and services.
- Understand customer engineering challenges and recommend tailored ANSYS solutions across structural, CFD, thermal, electromagnetic, multiphysics, and systems simulation domains.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans including customer profiles, value mapping, strategy, goals, tactics, and milestones.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and participation in industry events and seminars.
- Work closely with technical application engineers, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver exceptional pre- and post-sales support.
- Maintain deep product and industry knowledge to position ANSYS as the leader in simulation-driven innovation.
- Submit accurate sales forecasts, progress updates, and maintain proper CRM documentation of all sales activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record in technical sales, solution selling, or consultative sales in engineering software or related sectors.
- Strong background or understanding of simulation/CAE software, FEA, CFD, electromagnetics, Multiphysics, or systems simulation (ANSYS experience a strong advantage).
- Experience applying engineering design, FEA, CFD, optimisation, multiphysics, additive manufacturing, or digital twin technologies is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, understand customer needs, and deliver customised value propositions.
- Ability to develop and execute detailed account strategies with clear objectives and milestones.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
