L2 Application Support Engineer (24x7 Shift Support)
Location: Singapore
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Renewable Subject to Performance & Business Needs)
Availability: Immediate to 1 Month Notice Preferred

We are looking for an experienced L2 Application Support Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting critical applications in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring system stability, and delivering high-quality support services in a 24x7 environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 24x7 application support through rotating 12-hour shifts.
- Manage and resolve production incidents and problems within agreed service levels.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
- Monitor application performance, availability, and overall system health.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve production issues.
- Perform impact analysis and communicate issues effectively to stakeholders.
- Support application implementation and production releases.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, performance tuning, and reduction of manual operational tasks (TOIL).
- Follow Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices to improve service reliability and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in L2 Application Support within a production environment.
- Strong experience in Incident Management and Problem Management.
- Good understanding of end-to-end web-based application infrastructure.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production incidents.
- Ability to work independently under pressure in a mission-critical support environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting applications within the banking or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with application monitoring and observability tools.
- Exposure to SRE practices, service reliability monitoring, and operational automation.
- Experience working with cross-functional, onsite, and offshore teams.
- Knowledge of digital banking platforms or financial products will be advantageous.
Shift Schedule:
This role operates on a 12-hour rotating shiftbasis:
- 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
