Job Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and driven Accounts Executive to manage our daily financial operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling full-set accounts, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and ready to contribute to a growing finance team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations & Settlement: Manage daily settlement processes, including accurate billing, data entry, and rigorous reconciliation of accounts.
  • Full Set Accounting: Handle the complete spectrum of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in month-end closing activities; prepare periodic financial statements, bank reconciliations, and management reports.
  • Credit Control: Proactively follow up with customers via email and phone to ensure timely collection of unpaid invoices.
  • Tax & Compliance: Prepare and submit SST returns in accordance with Malaysian regulatory requirements.
  • Liaison: Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries to ensure statutory compliance.
  • Digital Transformation: Support the implementation and maintenance of E-invoicing processes.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform other finance-related duties and administrative support as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting. Fresh graduates with a strong learning appetite are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or SAP).
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of the Inland Revenue Board’s (LHDN) E-invoice requirements and SST framework.
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
