Job Summary
As an Implementation Executive / Manager at Soft Space, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering client onboarding, implementation, and feature enablement projects for the company’s digital payment solutions. Working closely with clients and cross-functional teams, you will manage implementation activities from planning and configuration through integration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
This role requires strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, meet customer requirements, and adhere to established processes and standards. You will play a key role in enabling successful client adoption and delivering a seamless implementation experience.
Key Responsibilities
1) Project Implementation & Delivery
- Manage end-to-end implementation activities for client onboarding and feature enablement projects.
- Conduct solution walkthroughs and align implementation requirements, scope, timelines, prerequisites, and acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain implementation plans, checklists, and project schedules to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor implementation progress, track milestones, and provide timely project status updates to stakeholders.
- Identify, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes through established governance channels.
2) Solution Configuration, Integration & Testing
- Coordinate system configuration activities based on approved implementation requirements.
- Plan and facilitate integration setup activities involving APIs, host-to-host connectivity, or file-based data exchanges.
- Coordinate and oversee testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Work closely with technical teams to resolve implementation issues and ensure successful completion of testing activities.
- Ensure all implementation deliverables are completed and validated prior to production deployment.
3) Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Customer Support to ensure successful implementation outcomes.
- Serve as a key point of coordination between clients and internal stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Facilitate effective communication and alignment on project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and expectations.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities and ensure timely resolution of implementation-related issues and blockers.
4) Go-Live & Post-Implementation Support
- Coordinate go-live planning and deployment activities to ensure a smooth transition into production.
- Provide implementation support during post-go-live stabilization and handholding periods.
- Monitor implementation outcomes and coordinate issue resolution with relevant teams.
- Ensure a successful transition from implementation to operational support and business-as-usual activities.
- Capture lessons learned and identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and customer experience.
5) Compliance, Governance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate implementation documentation, project records, approvals, and sign-offs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, security standards, implementation methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support governance processes by ensuring implementation activities are executed in accordance with approved procedures and controls.
- Promote consistency, quality, and standardization across implementation delivery practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in implementation, project delivery, onboarding, customer success, or technology deployment environments.
- Understanding of payment systems, digital platforms, or technology-enabled solutions.
- Familiarity with APIs, host-to-host integrations, or file-based data exchange concepts.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality of execution.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with project and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar platforms.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to fintech, payments, banking, SaaS, or technology implementation environments.
- Experience participating in client onboarding, system deployment, or implementation projects.
- Understanding of project management methodologies, Agile practices, or implementation frameworks.
- Professional certifications in Project Management, Agile, Scrum, or related disciplines are an added advantage.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams involving Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Customer Support functions.
