Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Tester role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Software Tester will design, review, and execute test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability across multiple projects. The role involves identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure timely resolution. The Software Tester will participate in test planning, prepare test data and environments, and contribute to regression, integration, and system testing cycles. The position also includes supporting continuous improvement of testing standards, tools, and processes to help maintain high-quality deliverables for clients.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manual Tester with strong System Integration Testing (SIT) experience in the Cards domain to join a leading banking project.

Key Requirements:

6+ years of Software Testing experience

Strong hands-on experience in SIT and Defect Management

Experience in Cards Testing (Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB)

Expertise in Test Planning, Test Case Design, Test Execution & Test Reporting

Experience with JIRA and test management tools

Banking domain experience is mandatory

Good understanding of end-to-end integration testing and data validation

Exposure to automation scripting or coding is an added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Prepare SIT Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases

• Execute end-to-end integration testing across multiple systems

• Identify, track, and manage defects

• Collaborate with Business, Development, and Project teams

• Provide testing status reports and risk assessments

• Ensure quality deliverables within project timelines
