Job Description Warehouse Assistant

1. Receiving and Inspection:

• Receive incoming shipments, verifying their contents against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Inspect deliveries for damages, discrepancies, or defects and report any issues to the relevant authorities.

2. Storage and Inventory Management:

• Ensure accurate and timely storage of received goods in designated areas.
• Label, tag, and organize inventory for easy retrieval and accurate tracking.
• Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.

3. Order Picking and Packing:

• Fulfill orders by picking the correct items from inventory and preparing them for shipment.
• Ensure orders are accurately packed, labeled, and staged for delivery or dispatch.

4. Loading and Unloading:

• Assist in loading and unloading goods onto/from delivery vehicles or containers.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment if required.

5. Quality Control:

• Perform quality checks on outgoing orders to ensure products meet the required standards.
• Report any damaged or faulty items to the Warehouse Supervisor.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Keep warehouse equipment and tools in good working condition.

7. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of received goods, dispatched orders, and inventory movements.
• Assist in preparing reports related to warehouse activities.

8. Health and Safety:

• · Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• · Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Requirements:

• SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in warehousing or related field is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects, as the job may involve manual handling.
• Willingness to follow instructions and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
