Our client in the financial services industry is seeking experienced Data Platform Engineers to build scalable data infrastructure and support analytics, reporting and machine learning initiatives across the organization.

This role offers the opportunity to work with modern data technologies, ETL pipelines and experimentation platforms while contributing to enterprise-scale data ecosystems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Python
  • Strong SQL and database design knowledge
  • Experience with data transformation, metadata and workload management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience building ETL pipelines and scalable data systems
  • Knowledge of Databricks, Dataflow or Apache Spark is an advantage
  • Familiarity with MLFlow, Prefect or machine learning infrastructure is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines
  • Develop ETL processes using Python
  • Build and optimize databases and data collection systems
  • Ensure data quality, integrity and accessibility
  • Analyze trends and patterns in complex datasets
  • Maintain documentation for analytics and data science processes
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver data-driven solutions
  • Support machine learning infrastructure and experimentation platforms
  • Continuously improve data architecture and engineering workflows

Pay: Up to RM11,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
