Our client in the financial services industry is seeking an experienced Mobile Engineering Lead to drive the development of high-quality mobile applications while leading and mentoring a growing mobile team.

This role offers the opportunity to influence mobile architecture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver scalable applications for both Android and iOS platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and releasing Flutter applications in production
• Strong understanding of Flutter and Dart programming
• Experience working with APIs and third-party libraries
• Familiarity with state management frameworks such as Provider, Bloc or Riverpod
• Experience with SQLite, Hive or other mobile databases
• Knowledge of Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of mobile security and data protection best practices
• Strong debugging, performance tuning and problem-solving skills
• Experience with testing frameworks and integration testing
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality Flutter applications for Android and iOS platforms
• Lead, manage and mentor the mobile development team
• Collaborate with backend developers, product managers and UI/UX designers
• Translate business requirements into scalable mobile solutions
• Optimize application performance and user experience
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through root cause analysis
• Implement unit, widget and integration testing practices
• Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices
• Ensure compliance with App Store and Google Play platform requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies

Pay: Up to RM11,000.00 per month
