Job Description
Your main duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Responsible as Technical Operation Engineer, DC Operations, you will be the point of contact for customer request which covers all M&E works or any other related request.
- To prepare scope of work for vendor to quote for additional request
- Work closely with the Sales team to understand and define client’s key business drivers and requirements
- Liaise with clients to develop project documentation, such as Statement of Work and implementation plans
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure effective delivery of projects
- Lead a group of vendors during the implementation phase to ensure deliverables are punctual with no downtime during the course of work
- Propose technically viable solutions that satisfies client requirements and add value to the overall proposal
- Ensure all documents and drawings are in place before handover to Service Operations team
- Support internal and external audit program that is relates to work perform under Tech & Project ops
- Prepare Change Management document for major activity and attend Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings
- Respond to after-hours and unplanned 'disaster response' emergencies/ contingencies as and when required without prior notice
- Perform any additional services needed to meet the requirements of the facility in support of maintenance functions
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with internal and external clients
- Respond to customer service requests in a timely manner
- Travel overseas for work / assignment as and when necessary or requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department.
- Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time.
Job Requirements
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent field of study required.
- 5+ years’ experience in data center / mission-critical operations, with proven leadership in multi-site and multi-function roles.
- Experience in managing customer fit-out works and project delivery in critical environments.
- Financial acumen with demonstrated ability to manage budgets, costs, and profitability.
- Excellent stakeholder management, vendor management, and customer engagement skills.
- A team player with the ability to work alongside subject matter experts to deliver projects on time
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge in M&E systems setup, ability to interpret drawings/schematic diagrams
