Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or instructions to build or repair various items, including furniture, cabinets, doors, and windows

Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and wallboard using hand and power tools

Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, using carpenter's hand and power tools

Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures

Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment

Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradesmen to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Maintain tools and equipment, and ensure they are in good working order

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or equivalent training

Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry or related field

Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
